On the set of Fellini's "Casanova" 1976
Since a child I love cinema and Frederico Fellini was my favorite director. One can imagine my joy when I obtained the authorization to stay three days on the set of “Casanova“ starring Donald Sutherland and Tina Aumont in the legendary studios of Cinecitta in Rome.
When the press officer introduced me, Fellini told me he wanted to see all the pictures.
So, every evening I would present him the boxes of slides and contact-sheets. He would take the slides one after the other, threw in the trash bin with his nails 2 out of 5 images, handing me back the cardboard frames.
When he left, the press officer would collect the films in the trash and give them to me with a smile a little heartbroken and quite charming.
The problem was the baldness of the master, he didn’t like it and didn't want to see it immortalized
